My career journey started in early 2014. I graduated from University Kuala Lumpur. I got a job offer at my practical place during the final year of the degree program at CTRM AC Sdn Bhd. The location of this company is located in Batu Berendam, Melaka, Malaysia. I worked there about 2 years before getting a job offer at the next company, Airasia Berhad.
CTRM AC Sdn Bhd is an aircraft component manufacturing company for Airbus and Boeing aircraft. There are various divisions and projects created within this company to ensure the smooth operation of this company. I have been involved with the division that responsible for producing engine fan cowl panel for GE and Roll Royce engine for B787 aircraft. My job is to ensure that raw materials are always available in a production line to ensure the smooth operation of our shop.
I learned a lot during my 2 years at this company. As a fresh graduate the exposure in the industry is very important as a learning process before being given the high portfolio task. I am very grateful to have a kind and good leader for being willing to teach me throughout my time in this company. I would like to thank the former supervisor, Pn. At the end of 2015, I got a job offer at Airasia Berhad. This company is a well-known low cost airline in asia and world. I choose to grab the offer for working in this company because I want to diversify the knowledge as well as to build a network in the industry for my own benefit in the future.
Working at this company has been a very enjoyable experience throughout my life. Apart from being able to practice the knowledge I have learned during my university time, I also made a lot of new contacts here. The uniqueness of the operating system of an airline company not only allows me to work with the engineering department but also with other departments such as flight operations, safety management, customer care, social media & marketing, flight route revenue and IT as well.
While working here I was very lucky to have a good boss and a great teammates. We have a very strong bond in helping each other to ensure the smooth of operation. I would like to thank the former boss Mr. Jamaluddin bin Ahmad, Ms. Sarawani Nordin, planning team and the company for giving me the opportunity to work here. Honestly, I still want to work with them if given the opportunity in the future. I miss them all.
Besides being able to see the beautiful cabin crew, the advantage of working with an airline company is the cheap ticket benefit. Do you know that with only RM180 you can travel to Osaka from Kuala lumpur? I took this opportunity by traveling in asean countries because I like asean. Almost all the asean countries I have visited except Myanmar, Brunei and Philippines.
While working there I was selected to represent the engineering department and company as a volunteer to provide school aid for students in Nepal. This activity was joined by staff from various departments. In April 2015, there was an earthquake in that which killed 9000 people and injured almost 22000 thousand people. Thanks to our project director Ms Yup Mun Ching to gave us such an honorable chance for this trip. I am also glad to make a new friend Junnel, Klod, Shiju, Dibya, Winnie, and Naginder. MY FIRST YEAR
My first year on 2019.

MY OFFICE
Stay back is normal here.
My life changed after I choose to come to this company. Sapura Technics Sdn Bhd is an aircraft maintenance company for aircraft A320 and B737. The company was newly established at the end of 2018.
My original responsibility was to take care of matters related to paperwork for aircraft maintenance work only but everything changed due to current factors. Lack of manpower caused me to be given the additional task of ensuring that the company remains active to comply with Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia requirements. I was also have been assigned to taking care of a small team.
There are a lot of papers that need to be studied and prepared and I am not ready to handle the task that causing me to almost give up during working here. Due to the high standard factor that has been set, it makes the work even harder for me along working here. This is acknowledged other colleagues who understand my situation.
After a lot of thinking and pondering, give up is not an option that I have. I made a positive decision to resume my work using micromanagement and I managed to through it well slowly. Thanks to god.
Soon the covid19 pandemic came. The government's decision to announce the Movement Control Order in March 2020 that has put a strain on the company's operations until today. Due to the government's demolition and actions, the company lost all its projects and the company's operations will likely close soon. We still wonder and hope for the best.
Again I try to convince myself that give up is not the only option because I still believe there is still a way to counter this issue. As a result of this, I decided to continue studying to find other perspectives in my career and life as well. I am still trying to find a way to improve my life for the sake of my family and myself. The adversity that I am facing right now is a learning curve to become a strong and big-hearted person.

GATEWAY OF MALAYSIA (GOM)
BACKPACKERS HOSTEL
WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS ~Robert Ingersoll

Part 1
As a person who has traveled for a long time, of course, there always a feeling of wanting to return to my hometown to serve the family and the community. I always think about what can be done if I return to my hometown. My village is located in the north of peninsular Malaysia, the state of Perlis. I lived there from my childhood until I decided to continue my studies for diploma level at Universiti Kuala Lumpur which is located in Sepang, Selangor. That is the episode when I start to wander from my hometown until today begins.
The geographical factors and lack of local natural resources caused the state of Perlis to have a small income and caused the economic sector to be relatively slow. However, development is not an option if some good plans or ideas can be highlighted to help boost the local economy without dependence on the federal government.
Since I have a little experience in the industry and see the modernity of development in other states or countries gives me a question what things can I do if I decided to return to my hometown and at the same time can generate my source of income while helping the local community.
There are also classes or seminars that I attend to find out an idea regarding a business that I can do if I return home. I also grab a lot of sharing information from those who are experienced in the business.
This is also the factor why I decided to continue my studies for a master's level to find ideas and knowledge to realize my dreams.

Part 2
Discussing business, there are among the things that I have learned and it must be based on the following elements as hobby model, skill model, talent model, problem-solving model, and also a unique model. And the thing that interests me is the hobby model.
Since I love to travel and wander and seeing the culture in other states and countries, the hobby model is my most appropriate choice by taking into account the factors of my experience as well. I love to travel and meet a lot of strangers while sharing experiences and making new friends.
The idea that I had identified is hostel business based on interest as well. Through this business, I can meet other travelers either domestically or abroad. These are among the things that why I love traveling. I still want to travel but the pandemic factor Covid19 caused me to feel enough to do it again. This idea can only proceed after the end of this pandemic whose end is still unknown.
A business plan has been made and SWAT analysis has been studied. Geographical factors are among those that further strengthen the effectiveness of this idea to proceed in the future. Perlis is a state bordering the neighboring country of Thailand. This state is the entrance and exit gate for those who want to cross this country and neighboring countries. Based on statistics.gov.my statistics in 2017, a total of 4,071,223 tourists reported entered the state of Perlis that year. Refer to the link below.
This data is an indication to strengthen my dream of a business that I want to venture into one day.
Kuala Perlis is seen as a very suitable location for this business. Its location is seen as strategic because it is not far from our country's borders. It is also a transit location for those who want to enter or exit to the famous resort island of Langkawi Island. In addition to its beautiful location by the sea, there are also other interesting attractions around the area. For those who love seafood, Kuala Perlis is an ideal location to visit because there is a selection of delicious food stores at reasonable prices.
The name Gateway of Malaysia (GOM) backpackers hostel was chosen because the state of Perlis is the gateway to enter and exit this country. This state is the northernmost state in peninsular Malaysia. Although this state is the smallest in Malaysia, many interesting attractions can be visited that give a new perspective to its visitors. This hostel is traveler and cyclists friendly, I hope this project will succeed and becomes one of the new attractions for travelers or visitors to Perlis. Let's pray for the end of this pandemic soon.
